A fantastic collection of classical favourites, show tunes and Latin-American dances, as well as ragtime and enticing new pieces by John Pitts.  All pieces superbly arranged and graded to be ideal for recorder players of any age.

Designed to be used alongside the author's best-selling Treble Recorder From The Beginning teaching scheme, at the start of the book players should know the first eight notes from the tutor book.  The range of required notes then increases steadily.  However, the incentive to perform these popular pieces will help develop new skills and rhythmic awareness.

The supporting CD has exciting and suitably stylish backing tracks for every one of the the pieces.  The recorded accompaniments will enhance any level of practice or performance, and increase enjoyment both in school and at home.  For more confident players there are extra tracks for eight of the pieces.  In these, the same accompaniment is played without melody.  Guitar chord symbols are included and for the Latin American dances there are usually suggestions for use of percussion instruments.
