Musicals Starshine Music has produced a fantastic musical version of "The Tempest".  With delightful music and an attention-grabbing script, this is a great way to bring Shakespeare's material to your school.  Suitable for age 8 - 12 years, approx. 55 minutes.  Full details can be found on our web-site, then click on "More Details" button for a link to Starshine, where you can listen to the music and down-load director's notes, score and script excerpts.  Price $135.00. "Jack - the Musical" is also available.  This is a rollicking good take on the traditional Jack and the Beanstalk, with a pantomime-type approach.  Aimed at ages 7 to 12 years but younger children can also join in.  Approximately 1 hour duration.  Price $157.50.

Junior Listening Resources
Here's an attractive book and CD combination produced by the famous Naxos publishers - "My First Classical Music Book".  An interactive, original and colurful approach to making learning fun, includes clear guidance and what to listen for, with introductions to the most famous composers and musical instruments.  28 classical music tracks.  Available now at $42.50.   There is an error in the price on the posted flyer and price list for this item. 

Assembly Material Rhonda Macken, the co-ordinator of the Sing material, has produced a really worthwhile resource book and CD called "Higgledy Piggledy".   Designed especially for ages 3 - 9 years this provides integrated classroom programmes involving all the arts.  Just pick a topic and go!  Price  $75 complete. ORFF Activities and Songs:  "Sing, Say, Dance, Play" is a collection of 24 songs, complete with teaching suggestions for singing, movement, instrumental work, etc.  A great resource for enhancing the classroom music programme.  Book only.  $45.

 New Kids's Music Company Resource:  Described as "Essentially fully-interactive repertoire for everyone aged 3 -8 years".  "Break Out" is a new collection of 24 songs in book and CD from  Janet and Wendy.  $70 for complete set.
